คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ ประสงค์จะมอบทุนการเดินทางเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ณ ต่างประเทศ “มนุษยศาสตร์แบกเป้ท่องโลก (Humanities Backpacking to Explore the World)” สำหรับนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี สังกัดคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 5 ทุน ๆ ละ 40,000 บาท เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาได้มีโลกทัศน์และสมรรถนะผ่านการเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์ต่างประเทศ อันจะนำไปสู่ความเป็นนานาชาติและความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการ อีกทั้งเป็นการสนับสนุนให้นักศึกษาได้มีโอกาสเผยแพร่ความเป็นมนุษยศาสตร์ ให้เป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้างในต่างประเทศ สอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์สถาบันชั้นนำด้านมนุษยศาสตร์
ก. คุณสมบัติผู้ขอรับทุนการศึกษา
1. เป็นนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่
2. ไม่อยู่ในระหว่างการเข้าร่วมฝึกงาน ปฏิบัติสหกิจศึกษา หรือเข้าร่วมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนต่างประเทศ
3. มีสมาชิกในกลุ่มไม่ต่ำกว่า ๔ คน
4. มีทักษะ ความรู้ความสามารถด้านภาษาและวัฒนธรรม การติดต่อสื่อสาร และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในการนำเสนอเผยแพร่ความเป็นคณะมนุษยศาสตร์สู่สากล

ง. การพิจารณา
ให้คณะกรรมการที่คณะมนุษยศาสตร์แต่งตั้งขึ้นเป็นผู้กำหนดแนวทางการพิจารณาและแจ้งให้ผู้รับสมัครทราบต่อไป โดยหลักเกณฑ์การพิจารณาและวิธีการคัดเลือกคณะกรรมการจะเป็นผู้คัดเลือกผู้สมัครรับทุน โดยพิจารณาจากเอกสารการสมัครและคุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร ทั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นการกระจายโอกาสในการรับทุนฯ กรรมการจึงขอสงวนสิทธิ์ในการพิจารณาข้อเสนอโครงการของผู้ที่เคยได้รับทุนโครงการมนุษยศาสตร์แบกเป้ท่องโลก (Humanities Backpacking to Explore the World) ประจำปีการศึกษา 2566

The Faculty of Humanities wishes to offer travel funds for participation in the international activity "Humanities Backpacking to Explore the World" for undergraduate students affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Mai University. There are total of 5 scholarships, each valued at 40,000 Thai Baht. The goal is to promote students’ perspectives and competencies through the enhancement of international experiences, leading to internationalization and academic excellence. Additionally, this initiative supports students in disseminating knowledge of humanities widely internationally, aligning with the vision of the leading institution in the field of humanities.
Qualifications of Scholarship Applicants
1. Must be an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Humanities at Chiang Mai University.
2. Must not be currently engaged in an internship, participating in cooperative education, or involved in any international exchange programs.
3. Must be a member of a group consisting of no fewer than 4 individuals.
4. Should possess skills, knowledge, and abilities in language and culture, effective communication, and creative thinking for presenting and promoting the Faculty of Humanities on the international stage.

2. Proposal of the project outlining the direction and methodology for promoting humanities.
3. Detailed travel itinerary covering the entire duration of the journey.

Submission of reports and video clips Within 14 days after returning from the trip. (Video 3-5 minutes in length)
Evaluation Process
The selection process will be determined by a committee appointed by the Faculty of Humanities. Applicants will be informed of the guidelines and decisions in due course. The committee will evaluate applicants based on their submitted documents and qualifications. To ensure equal opportunities for the scholarship, the committee will not consider project proposals from applicants who previously received the "Humanities Backpacking to Explore the World" Scholarship for the academic year 2023.
